To mark the 50th anniversary of English Literature at the University of Wolverhampton we are seeking to appoint a Professor in English to take a leadership role in developing our research culture towards REF2020 and beyond.

The post-holder should have a relevant PhD and an international reputation in any area or period of specialism, complementary to existing research groupings in transnational studies and popular culture. You will have a track record of publishing internationally excellent and world-leading outputs; experience of leading successful collaborative bids for external income; the ability to generate impact; and demonstrate the ability to support and encourage the research output of others. You must demonstrate significant Undergraduate & Postgraduate teaching experience and have a record of supervising research degree students to completion.
