Memberships

Where does my membership fee go?

The IAAS is not for profit. None of the committee members earns a salary for their work for the IAAS, and most perform their duties on top of full-time jobs and studies. Membership fees make possible a number of initiatives, including the many bursaries we offer, principally for students and early career scholars, the events we run, the outputs we generate, and the wider American Studies projects and activities we support.
