The IAAS is not for profit. None of the committee members earns a salary for their work for the IAAS, and most perform their duties on top of full-time jobs and studies. Membership fees make possible a number of initiatives, including the many bursaries we offer, principally for students and early career scholars, the events we run, the outputs we generate, and the wider American Studies projects and activities we support.
Membership Benefits Include:
Access to bursary and prize schemes
Invitation and exclusive early-bird access to IAAS conferences, symposiums and events
Free access to JSTOR’s Ireland Collection (a digital database of core resources in Ireland)*
